"Choreographer and Artistic Director Natalia Hills is a tango superstar, who learned the art as a child in Buenos Aires from her grandfather. As she dance he would urge her to "romper el piso" – break the floor – inspiring the title of the work to be performed at the festival. Following her tour with the hit show "Forever Tango" Hills become known internationally as a tango dancer and choreographer"

The stage is alive with passion as Artistic Director Natalia Hills, an original member of the Broadway and London hit Forever Tango, leads an ensemble of the world's best tango artists in Romper el Piso (Break the Floor). The expert performers of Tangueros del Sur showcase the intricate footwork, sensuality, and drama that comprise this classic Argentinean dance style, from its traditional beginnings to its modern ballroom interpretation.

The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail is a spectacular outdoor venue that not only seats 1,260 guests in covered seating but also 1,300 on its expansive grassy hillside with a breathtaking view of the Gore Range. Gates to the venue open one hour before showtime. Lawn seating available on a first come-first served basis.
